SANDTON CONVENTION CENTRE
Proudly South African will host the 14th edition of its annual flagship event, the Buy Local Summit & Expo, at the Sandton Convention Centre in the north of Johannesburg. The theme for this year’s conference is: Localisation…A critical imperative to the economy. The Buy Local Summit & Expo is the premier buy local procurement event that attracts senior government officials and ministers, captains of industries, industry magnates from various economic sectors, financiers, innovators, entrepreneurs, organised labour, and over 200 local exhibitors.
The action-packed programme includes engaging and impactful discussions on pertinent issues affecting home-grown industries, MSME workshops, activations where local ingenuity is showcased, an MSME financing workshop, and a business matchmaking seminar that creates market access opportunities for emerging entrepreneurs by pairing them with compatible conglomerates.
Join us at the Buy Local Summit & Expo where we celebrate everything local, where the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship is nurtured and where we revel in all things that are Loved Here. Made Here.
The Summit & Expo seeks to educate, inform and assist anyone with an interest in creating jobs and re-building the economy using local procurement as a lever for growth.
Its objectives are multiple, namely to ensure that all tiers and agencies of government are aware of their roles and responsibilities relating to the PPPFA, to encourage corporate South Africa to increase its uptake of locally sourced and manufactured goods and services required for their day to day operations, and to educate consumers on labels of origin and their role in contributing to job creation by making buy local choices.
In addition, the event creates access to market opportunities for member companies and enterprise and supplier development beneficiaries of our sponsors and large member companies and promotes locally made products and services through the exhibition.
Platinum Gold Radio will be broadcasting live from 16 – 17 March 2026 at Sandton Convention Centre.
